I haven't seen it yet. If anyone tells me what happens, I will shoot them. Okay, not really, but I certainly won't be very happy with them.

I watched it last night and I wasn't that happy with the ending. Yes it's a bit open and ambiguous (so the viewer can effectively choose what ending they want to believe in), but after reading an interview with the writer it suggests my interpretation was pretty close to his idea.

It looks like the sequel is set in London in 1981, so look out for '80s clothing. Not sure I like the idea of Gene Hunt having a love interest though.
